New members welcomed

The Guild of British Coach Operators is proud to announce that York Pullman and their associated company Ingleby’s Luxury Coaches have been accepted into the membership.  Guild Chairman Andrew Richmond said:  “We are delighted to welcome these highly respected and successful operators into the Guild, lifting our membership to 23 companies, with two more soon to be announced.  We look forward to them participating fully in the Guild’s activities as we continue to share best practice and showcase excellence in coach travel”.

Tom James, managing director of York Pullman, said: “As our company has grown, we have always aspired to provide the highest quality standards in whatever job we have done.  We are delighted to have had our operational standards accredited by the Guild and we are looking forward to taking part in The Guild’s commitment to, and promotion of, like-minded service providers who are equally dedicated to meeting and providing these high quality standards”.

Now in its 32nd year, the Guild promotes and markets the services of its members, all of whom commit to meeting the highest quality standards, assured by regular independent audits.  Prospective members have to achieve a 100% pass before being accepted into the Guild.   The Guild is also registered as a Driver CPC training centre, giving members access to a suite of courses specifically designed for the coach industry.
