13/06/2025 - A fun day out by Bakers Dolphin coach for children

A group of 32 children from four schools in Weston-super-Mare had a day out by coach as part of the Rotary Children’s Fun Day initiative.

Rotary Weston-super-Mare organised the day out for vulnerable and disadvantaged children as part of a national initiative in conjunction with the charity Kids In Mind.

Local coach operator, Bakers Dolphin provided the transport with driver Richard Adams picking children up from the schools to start the day with breakfast supplied by Morrisons, Weston-super-Mare.

Then it was on to Longleat where the children enjoyed a Safari through enclosures of lions and African animals and a lake cruise to get a close up look at Sea Lions and Gorilla Island.

Audrey Kinvig, President Elect of Rotary Weston-super-Mare said: “This is an annual event and local schools select the children that they feel need the boost of a special day out.

“Bakers Dolphin always provide a first-class service and it make a real difference to the children to have such a fun day away from the issues that they face.”
