04/04/2013 - New Van Hools on the Way

Maynes about to take delivery of more new coaches

We have been sent our first pictures of our new Van Hool coaches that are on Build at the factory in Belgium. We have on order from Arriva Bus and Coach, three Van Hool DAF TX15 coaches. This is the first time we have bought the combination, although we are no strangers to Van Hool and DAF having had these makes many times before.

The new coaches will be built by Van Hool to our exact executive specification complete with 49 seats, full air-con, w.c, hot and cold drinks and an on-board entertainment system. The new coaches will blend into our touring and private hire fleet undertaking a mixed workload throughout the UK and Europe.

Last November we announced our total investment of around £1.7m for seven new coaches for the 2013 Season; 4 of these are already in the Mayne Fleet.  This shows our continued commitment to our customers that "Travelling The Mayne Way" is to travel in a first class vehicle, specifically selected for its comfort, reliability and safety.
