Bakers Dolphin sponsors kit for youth football team

The Weston Crusaders Under 12s Colts team is celebrating after a local business stepped forward to sponsor their new season kit.

Bakers Dolphin, which provides coach travel, UK and continental breaks, school coach services and concert and theatre trips, has supplied the new kit for the Junior team as part of its commitment to supporting community organisations in North Somerset.

Mark Neal, Club Chairman at Weston Crusaders, said: “Weston Crusaders JFC like many local youth organisations rely on businesses for sponsorship and over the years local travel company Bakers Dolphin has always been prominent in showing support across the region for such causes.

Bakers Dolphin football“We are extremely fortunate and grateful that they have chosen to sponsor the new kit for the under 12s this season. Without Bakers Dolphin’s backing, we like many, would struggle to provide junior football to local children.

“On behalf of all at Weston Crusaders we thank Bakers Dolphin for the support.”

Bakers Dolphin Sales & Marketing Manager, Amanda Harrington, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Weston Crusaders Under 12s team. Getting youngsters interested in sports is so important and we’re pleased to be able to offer help to a local organisation.

“We hope the new kits bring the team lots of luck this season!”

Bakers Dolphin is one of the largest and longest-established coach holiday companies in the region, with a history dating back to 1889.

The company runs pick up points across the South West and many holidays offer convenient home pick-ups. With two shops in Broadmead and the Sovereign Centre, Weston-super-Mare, Bakers Dolphin specialises in short breaks, UK and continental holidays, day trips and theatre tickets.
