04/03/2016 - More new Mercedes Benz coaches for Maynes
Coaches carry liveries for John O'Groats Ferries and Newmarket Holidays
We have collected the first of our three new Mercedes-Benz Tourismos, which are all to be delivered in March 2016.
Ordered to the Travel specification, the new coaches will seat 55 in chestnut coloured Travel Star Eco upholstery with leather headrests. They are to feature full air conditioning, Bosch audio systems and pleated curtains.
Power will be provided by the Mercedes-Benz OM 470 engines paired with six-speed ZF EcoLife automatic transmissions. Safety specifications within the vehicles include three-point seat belts. 
The first coach will be in John O'Groats Ferries livery and will be used predominantly on our seasonal Orkney operation. The next pair will be in Newmarket Holidays livery undertaking season long tours around the Highlands and Islands, post tour all three will be used to look after our increasing private hire clients.
The three coaches supplied by Mercedes-Benz Coach Sales at EvoBus (UK) and will be cared for by Mercedes Benz service in Aberdeen and Nairn.
