02/05/2016 - Maynes charity trip for CHAS
Supporting Rachel House, Scotland’s first children’s hospice
Excellent charity day tour on Saturday for Chas and Rachael House aboard Harry's 'Sus'. We had wonderful weather all day and with a few extra surprises hopefully made a memorable day for our group and together raised a fantastic £1,080 to go to the charity.
Big thanks to the local companies who has donated to our on board raffle and the folks who gave donations and who added to the raffle during the day with some fantastic prizes. Also to everyone in the Mayne Team who helped in many ways to get everything of the ground and ready for the day.
Our charity coach tour aboard Harry's "sus" left Buckie at 09.00 with pick-ups on the route before heading up to Inverness Holm Mills then down towards Loch Ness with a stop at Drumnadrochit, we will then retraced our route to Inverness for free time before coming home via Culloden. We sold all the 53 seats available. All proceeds of £1,080 collected for the trip and raised during the day will now go to the Chas charity.
Well done to Nan Rae who also won the £50 on the 100 squares competition that sold every square and brought in £150 to the pot.
Thanks finally must go to Lynne and all the family for allowing the company to do the trip and we are very proud to help.
