Finalist in the Best Coach Operator category in the 2014 Group Travel Awards
REGIONAL coach operator Lucketts Travel Group has been nominated for an award by its customers.
The firm, which has its headquarters in Fareham, is a finalist in the Best Coach Operator category in the 2014 Group Travel Awards.
The awards are voted for by readers of Group Travel Organiser magazine, and the winners will be revealed at a glittering gala ceremony at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London on Friday, June 6.
Paul Barringer, group sales and marketing director, said: ‘Having our customers take the time to nominate us for an award such as this is something we are very proud of, and we would very much like to say thank you to them for it.
‘It is really an honour to be on the shortlist for the Group Travel Awards and we are very much looking forward to the ceremony.'
There are more than 20 categories in the awards, which cover everything from best attraction to the best place for groups to find food while on a tour.
The awards have earned a reputation for being the most prestigious of their kind serving the group travel market.
