10/01/2013 - How refreshing! 2013 brings new look and new coaches for Lucketts

There’s no sign of a post Christmas hangover for Lucketts, the leading South Coast coach travel group. The Fareham based company is moving into New Year completely refreshed, with a new look and £2million worth of new vehicles.

With three company brands operating under the Lucketts Travel ‘umbrella' bosses thought it was time to give them all a unified look, whilst retaining the individual names that customers know and love. Passengers will still travel on Lucketts Travel, Worthing Coaches or Coliseum Coaches branded vehicles, although each will share common styling that identify them as part of a larger successful travel group.

The new look brings a cleaner and fresher style to the coaches. All will share the same familiar "swoosh" logo, with different colours used for the three brands within the group. It's the first rebrand in eight years, and comes after a successful period of investment and expansion. The addition of Worthing Coaches in 2005 and Coliseum Coaches in 2012 has increased the Lucketts Group size and reach in Southern England.

Ian Luckett, Director at Lucketts Travel said, "It's been a while since we last refreshed our branding and with the recent acquisition of Coliseum Coaches the time seemed right to give all parts of our business a more uniform style. It was important though to still allow each company in our group to maintain its own sense of identity.

The group enters 2013 with seven new additions to its fleet of modern luxury coaches. This takes the total number of vehicles it operates to one hundred. Reaching "a century" is an important milestone in the Lucketts Group development, and an indication that it refuses to rest on its laurels. An additional DAF Irizar i6 53 seater coach, two Scania Irizar 53 seaters, two Scania Irizar 49 seaters, one Scania Omni 53 seater, and a Plaxton Cheetah 29 seater will soon be in operation, complete with the new Lucketts Group branding.

Ian Luckett says "As a family firm the Lucketts Group has always been focused on delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. To achieve this in a competitive market, and to keep our place above the crowd, we continue to invest heavily in areas of our business that make a big difference to our passengers. By operating the latest eco friendly luxury vehicles, driven by staff who receive industry leading training, we are able to deliver high quality travel at the best value prices."
