Double success at the routeOne Awards - Best Small Coach Operator and Best Use of Technology
Last night Grey’s of Ely scooped up not one, but two highly prized awards at the prestigious RouteOne Awards ceremony in Birmingham. The glittering event was held at the Hilton Metropole on Halloween night.
Grey’s were up for the Best Use of Technology award and also the Best Small Coach Operator of the year award amongst up to seven finalists in each category. The annual RouteOne awards are attended by the very best and highest performing Coach and Bus operators from all over the UK.
The first award of the evening was the Best Use of Technology award, judges said that Greys placed the use of technology at the heart of the company and embraced the ever-changing requirements for new and better technology processes to help the business stand out from the crowd. Prolific and innovative on social media and using new, more efficient processes for both its clients and also internal company procedures.
Hot on the heels of this award came the Best Small Coach Operator of the year award which Greys won amongst some very fierce competition from its peers. Again, judges commented that Greys were an impressive company that grasped opportunities in every way from social media and technology to improvements in customer service and operational systems, converting them into real business growth and improved profitability. Small but perfectly formed.
This double award follows earlier success of Greys of Ely winning Coach Operator of the Year at the UK Coach Awards early in the year, bringing a hat-trick to the family run business for 2018.
