24/04/2015 - Excelsior Coaches win ' Medium Coach Operator’ for the fourth year running
Success in the UK Coach Awards
The UK Coach Awards presented by BBC Presenter Carol Kirkwood were held at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 23rd April 2014.
Excelsior Coaches was one of a number of Coach Marque accredited Operators to receive a much coveted award, winning for the fourth consecutive year the Medium Size Operator Award.
Over 60 companies, organisations and individuals were short-listed across the whole spectrum of the UK coach tourism industry and were recognised for their achievements in the provision of coach services and coach tourism.
The criteria for the award is extremely stringent with winners having to demonstrate exceptionally high standards in all aspects of their operation and service delivery
Speaking on receipt of the Awards Managing Director Kathy Tilbury Said "I am delighted that we have won, again this year. It shows that not only were we the best of the best for one year but for 4 years. The team at Excelsior have worked extremely hard for this and it shows them that their efforts have paid off - I am really proud!"
Excelsior is widely known for its quality and this includes its operations for National Express, which has presented the firm with a number of awards in recent years. The judges were once again impressed by the company's professionalism and determination to remain among the market leaders, even in difficult trading conditions.
