11/03/2014 - Excelsior Coaches have been shortlisted in the UK Coach Awards 2014
Top Medium Fleet Operator Category for the third consecutive year
Excelsior were nominated for the Coach Operator of the year (medium fleet) by one of its contract customers anonymously, the criteria for nomination concentrated on all aspects of the contract and operational delivery of service to its customers. The purpose of this award is to identify excellence and best practice in coach operations and coach tourism and recognition from the operator's customers rather than being nominated by the industry itself.
The short-list for the UK Coach Awards, which was recently published, contains 80 organisations involved in the provision of coach services and coach tourism, which have all been identified by customers and operators as amongst the best in the country.
Managing Director Kathy Tilbury said "This is a huge achievement for Excelsior, to be short listed for this prestigious award yet again is a great honour and no mean feet. We have won this award the past two years running and as a business it's clear recognition by our customers that we are good at what we do -whose opinions really count as being worthy of such credit!.''
The glittering presentation ceremony will take place on Thursday 10th April 2014 at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester and will be presented by BBC Weather lady Carol Kirkwood.
