Excelsior Coaches Traffic Operative David Bennallack has won silver in the UK Coach Awards Catergory of Support Staff for 2014.

David was completely new to the coaching industry when he joined the Excelsior team back in December 2011. He came to Excelsior, after a long standing career at the local Authority bringing with him considerable experience due to the extensive knowledge he had gained from working there, however he was looking for a more challenging role.

David has become one of the most valuable members of the Excelsior team. He is an exceptionally reliable team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, in what can be an extremely challenging job role. The demands of the business and job role means the expectations are very high, due to the high quality operation that we provide to our clients. David always goes that extra mile, often walking in at 6am to start his shift, only to be told that he needs to go out to cover a driving job before commencing his normal day job in the busy traffic office and then working later in order to catch up.

Managing Director of Excelsior Coaches Kathy Tilbury says ‘I am absolutely delighted that David has come this far within the business, he is an asset to the company and this nomination is well-deserved! David has become a significant member of the team.

Within this busy industry we need reliable and skilled staff that can grow and develop within the business and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for David.'
