13/02/2014 - Best Reunion Ever!

Epsom Coaches customers celebrate

Epsom Coaches have just returned from what can only be described as our best ever Reunion Break. Managing Director Steve Whiteway and his family were joined by a selection of our office team, tour managers and tour drivers for a fun filled weekend.

On the first evening we had a fancy dress competition.  Epsom staff dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz.  Steve as the wizard, Lynn as Dorothy, Alistair as the lion, Linda as the scarecrow, Angie as the tin man, Anna as the good witch, Sally as Tonto (not Toto!), Melanie as the wicked witch.  Barrie, Steve and Harry were flying monkeys. On Saturday morning we launched our popular day trip brochure.  Steve interviewed Alistair and Melanie about the new brochure and we also had a look at the past year.  This was followed by an optional excursion to Rye.

Saturday evening was our gala evening with a charity raffle on behalf of Princess Alice Hospice.  We raised a magnificent £988.00.  Thank you to our very generous suppliers for the superb prizes. On Sunday we set off for our treasure hunt.  The route was through Kent and there was a break for lunch in Canterbury.  An anagram was solved to discover where the treasure was hidden.  All correct answers were gathered in and one winner per coach was selected. On Sunday evening we enjoyed Bingo and a Quiz.  Entertainment was provided by Peter and James of Cloud 9 Revival

Sales Manager Melanie commented "there is an incredible amount of work that goes into ensuring that the Reunion Break runs as smoothly as it does, seeing the reaction of our clients makes it all very worthwhile, roll on next year!  We have received a record amount of advance registrations for our next Reunion Break and planning for the event has already started"
