28/08/2013 - Bakers Coaches invests to meet ‘niche’ customer expectations

Bakers Coaches has updated its fleet to take advantage of ‘niche' requirements as more people recognise the benefits of group travel.
"Customer bookings cover all sorts of requirements, such as private parties to business hospitality and social clubs offering their members weekend activities," explains managing director Phil Baker.
"Whilst reliability, safety and comfort are standard, at Bakers Coaches we strive to deliver those extra touches that help to deliver a memorable experience."
The latest additions to the Bakers coach fleet include six high specification ‘King Long' coaches. These comprise three mid-size coaches, providing capacity for 29, 31 and 35 seats and two larger 49 seat executive coaches. All are fitted to a high standard with climate control and reclining leather seats. The larger capacity vehicles also have catering services, refrigerators, toilet and washroom facilities.
Flagship of the fleet is the Bakers hospitality coach which has been customised to allow more space for catering and entertainment facilities, including Sky TV and WiFi.
Seating capacity is 33 of which 24 places are arranged in three ‘Pullman' style groups with tables set either side of the central aisle. Each of the groups have access to one of six TV-DVD monitors as well as facilities to access onboard Internet connections. Fully equipped for long distance travel the coach has all the usual executive facilities including climate control, toilet and washroom and galley services with oven, microwave, refrigerators and hot and cold running water.
