01/07/2013 - Bakers Coaches in partnership with Hino Travel to deliver Chinese – European holiday tours

Chinese Tourists choose Chinese Coaches

Bakers Coaches of Biddulph, Staffs has secured a prestigious contract to work with Hino Travel - a UK based agency which co-ordinates the travel plans for Chinese tourists.  The programme covers a range of holiday destinations, throughout Britain and Europe.

A key factor in the decision to award the contract to Bakers was the fact that Bakers have decided to acquire a number of Chinese-built King Long coaches which will be sporting the ‘Hino Travel' livery.

Commenting on the contract, managing director Phil Baker said: "This is an important development for Bakers Coaches and a notable win, following our work in 2012 in connection with the Royal Jubilee celebrations and the London games. We are operating in a global community and it is a great privilege to be selected to provide the transport arrangements for Chinese tourists, who are now visiting the UK in growing numbers."

Bakers Coaches has taken delivery of three King Long Midi-coaches with seating capacities for 29, 31 and 35 passengers.  A further three 49 seat King Long Executive Coaches are also being delivered for use on the Hino contract, as well as other business opportunities.   These are all luxury vehicles equipped with air conditioning, video players and reclining leather seats.  Not only stylish in appearance, the coaches also offer excellent visibility and handling on the road has been praised by the Bakers drivers.

Justin He, Managing Director of Hino Travel commented: "We are very happy to be working with Bakers Coaches.  We value the quality and professionalism of their company and, of course, that they are willing to supply King Long coaches.  King Long coaches are supplied to a very high specification including air con and leather seats and many of them are specified in dedicated Hino Travel livery".
