24/09/2012 - Bakers Coaches backs School Transport Safety Week
Bakers Coaches of Biddulph is helping to spread the word about the importance of safety standards for the transportation of school children and other organised groups of young people.
A leaflet outlining the responsibilities and duty of care when hiring transport for school events and outings has been produced and a company representative is available to meet with teachers and other people concerned with coach hire.
The company is working with BUSK UK and the Simply Safe scheme to help build awareness. Phil Baker, Bakers Coaches commented: “We are happy to endorse this scheme. Safety is paramount and we will ensure the highest standards necessary to prevent accidents and their awful consequences for everybody involved.”
