30/04/2013 - Bakers backing for Churchill China’s Charity Challenge

Charity support from Bakers Coaches, Stoke on Trent

Social projects being undertaken by Bakers Coaches of Biddulph this year will include the provision of a coach to support the Churchill China  ‘Doing it for Dougie' challenge.

A team of runners representing all members of staff from Churchill's factory in Stoke on Trent are planning a marathon relay starting on the 22nd May, to deliver a specially designed china mug to the company's London showroom in Islington.

The project - in aid of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice's 40 year's fundraising - is intended to highlight Churchill's service promise by producing a custom product from start to delivery within 48 hours.

Bakers Coaches will support the project by providing a coach on the 23rd May to transport a number of personnel to Islington for the finish and then return with all the participant runners and the others who have helped and supported the challenge.
