04/04/2020 - York Pullman to the rescue

York Pullman, the leading Yorkshire bus and coach operator, is working with the City of York, to keep vital services going during the Coronavirus lock-down.

The compay said:

"City of York Council  advertised a shortage of drivers for their refuse trucks, and as three of our team had the relevant licence we put them forward as a solution to the shortage. All three have undergone the induction and vehicle familiarising and are ready to go as and when they are needed".

"York Pullman has also been appointed as a distributor for York food hub working in partnership with the City of York Council, making deliveries and keeping the hubs across the city supplied. We are utilising the vans in our fleet to undertake this work".

"We have been trying to put a positive message out of support in these difficult times and are adapting daily to what needs to be done".
