05/10/2013 - Maynes make the finals

Finalists in the Coach Manager of the Year, Coach Operator of the year category at this year's routeONE Operator Excellence Awards

Maynes Coaches have had further good news this week after finding out that Company Director and Transport Manager David Mayne and Maynes Coaches were worthy finalists in the Coach Manager of the Year, Coach Operator of the year category at this years routeONE Operator Excellence Awards.

Earlier this year we were delighted to find out that both David and Maynes Coaches had been shortlisted in this years routeOne Excellence Awards, which took place at the Hilton Metropole, Briminghan NEC, during the Bus and Coach show. Highly judged, the 16 categories are 11 for operators and five for people.

This is the third industry awards our company have been involved in recently. Maynes were awarded Coach Operator of the year (large Fleet) at this year's UK Coach Awards at Alton Towers Resort as part of the UK Coach Rally and Awards weekend. Maynes coaches were also a contender in the Coach Operator Of The Year Category ( large fleet ) in the annual awards, organised by trade magazine Coach Monthly. the awards held in Liverpool for 2013 recognised excellence across coach tour operators, tourist destinations, attractions, and industry suppliers.

Maynes Coaches are one of the few UK Coach Operators to pass all the current independently audited processes. Currently Maynes are the only Scottish member of the Guild Of British Coach Operators and one of three Coachmarque members north of the border. With our company now becoming one of the few Scottish members of the BUSK Simply Safe scheme and recently becoming a Benchmark maximum six star accredited Operator and a 4 star Edinburgh ECOSTARS member and now a London FORS Bronze Operator, makes Maynes Coaches the logical company to trust when choosing your preferred coach hire partner.
