11/06/2018 - Maynes confirm new orders in planned progressive expansion programme
Dual certified coaches allow seating capacity changes
Today (June 11) the directors of Maynes Coaches have made firm orders with EVM and Base Coach Sales for new coaches to be delivered during August this year.
The order with EVM for 3 new mini coaches 2 x 22 seat and 1 x 16 seat will be built to a high specification with wood effect floors, aircon, power doors and USB ports.
The company have also placed an order with BASE for 4 MAN Mobipeople Explorer 74 seat coaches with a dual certification that allows the coaches to be retrofitted easily with 57 seats in the peak months and workable in the local touring market, then returned to 74 seats without the need to be re-certified. The 4 coaches will also be fitted with dual power doors, in-coach entertainment and air-conditioning
The company have also entered into a refurbishment program to update some of our home to school fleet over the summer period.
