Lucketts Travel partnering with Hampshire Cricket Club

 

Coach firm Lucketts Travel been trusted with Hampshire Cricket’s most precious cargo - its players.

The club has appointed Fareham-based Lucketts to provide away game transport for its first team for the next three years. Players will travel in ultimate style on Lucketts’ £400,000 VIP coach, which boasts Sky TV, reclining leather seats and even its own kitchen.

Cricket fans will also be able to get a slice of the action, with Lucketts providing great-value coach travel to selected away games. People will be able to book their coach travel online through Lucketts’ website.Lucketts cricket

Paul Barringer, sales and marketing director at Lucketts Travel, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been appointed by Hampshire Cricket. Having been based in the county since our inception more than 90 years ago, we’re big fans of Hampshire Cricket and see the responsibility of transporting the team and its fans as a real honour.”

Director of Cricket, Giles White said: “We are pleased to welcome Lucketts to Hampshire Cricket and the Ageas Bowl and we’re looking forward to travelling to and from matches in comfort over the coming seasons.”

The new cricket season starts on April 5 and Hampshire has a packed schedule of fixtures, with games running right through to September.

The Hampshire Cricket contract win is the latest in a series of successes for Lucketts Travel, which is fast becoming first-choice for private hire among sports teams across the region.
