Welcome boost for coach operators
Coach travel is the least stressful way of getting to a holiday destination, a travel industry study* has found.
Coach travel is less stressful and that’s official. The findings of a travel industry study published today, bring welcome news for local coach travel operators, who are busy marketing their 2008 season programmes.
Bakers Coaches has already seen an increase in bookings for this year.
“People are definitely thinking about taking their holidays closer to home,” says Phil Baker, managing director of Bakers Coaches of Biddulph.
The Coach Operator’s Holiday Show 08 held last week was very successful and Bakers Coaches is planning to hold a similar independent event at its headquarters, The Coach Travel Centre, Biddulph on Sunday 24th February.
“This will be open house, says Phil Baker. Holidays don’t have to be far away from home, especially in a country that offers so much to see and do. For 2008 we have put together a varied programme designed to fulfil the most demanding expectations.”
From the bright lights of big cities – theme parks to country estates and from firework spectaculars to secluded beaches, Bakers Holidays 2008 programme offers lots of new adventures suitable for all age groups and abilities.
