We are pleased to announce that we will be continuing our ongoing partnership with John O Groats Ferries to provide Coaches for all passengers arriving on Orkney via the ferry in 2013.
Our coaches, driven by knowledgeable driver/guides, provide the “Maxi” and “Highlights” tours along with tours for private groups.
The ferry takes just 40 minutes to cover the old sea route to Orkney across the famous Pentland Firth which links the Atlantic Ocean with the North Sea . The Firth is rich in marine wildlife and the many isolated islands provide secure breeding places for thousands of sea birds.
You will step ashore on Orkney where our coach will be waiting to drive you over the Famous Churchill Barriers and the rest of your Orkney Tour. Your tour will visit some of the main sites of interest on the Orkney Islands . See Skara Brae, the Churchill Barriers, Scapa Flow, the Ring of Brodgar, the Standing Stones of Stenness, the Italian Chapel and an opportunity to see Kirkwall ´s magnificent 12th century Cathedral.
