The Kings Ferry wins two more prestigious awards

THE KINGS FERRY IS COACH OPERATOR OF THE YEAR…

WHILE LAND YACHTS SAIL AWAY WITH INNOVATION AWARD

The Kings Ferry Travel Group was top in both nominated categories at the routeONE Coach Operator Excellence Awards.

Steve O’Neill, Managing Director of the Gillingham-based company said: “The Kings Ferry Travel Group was founded by my father Peter nearly 40 years ago and he was on hand to pick up our Coach Operator of the Year prize. Much has changed since then but we still place huge emphasis on high standards of service and customer care.

“Winning Coach Operator of the Year, for large companies with more than 31 vehicles, shows how our standards are truly the benchmark in this sector.

“At The Kings Ferry we also combine our experience with the future. We are constantly trialling new technology, including environmentally-friendly schemes for greener fuel options or carbon-offsetting. This year we won the special Innovations Awards for our luxury VIP coach service using our state-of-the-art Land Yachts.

“The Land Yachts really have taken coach travel to another level. Inside they look like a VIP or members club on wheels.”


* The judging panel for the RouteONE Operator Excellence Awards was made up of a panel on top business experts in the field of transport. The prestigious awards were announced at a ceremony at the National Motorcycle Museum at Birmingham.
