Success at UK Coach Awards

We would like to proudly announce that The Kings Ferry has been name as 'UK Coach Operator of the Year 2014'. A Gold Award was also awarded to The Kings Ferry for 'Top Large Fleet Operator'.

The Commuter Coach Tracker App has also received recognition which is developed by uTrack winning a Gold Award  in 'Technology & Innovation' for Dynamic RTI and a Silver Award in 'Making Coaches a Better Choice'. The Smartphone App provides dynamic real-time information about the commuter service allowing a stress free-journey for their passengers.

All in all it was a successful night in what has been a very successful year for all involved, with the start-up of a new service in Bristol and continued success in Kent and London. The Kings Ferry regain the title last claimed in 2012, and now have 39 prestigious awards in the 45 years of its operation.

UK Coach Awards chairman Allan Edmondson said, "For the sixth year running, over 200 nominations were submitted for the various award categories, many from customers who've responded to our appeal to tell us about their experience of quality service from operators and front line staff."

Danny Elford, Commercial Director at The Kings Ferry, told us what it meant to the company;

"We're very proud to have been named UK Coach Operator of the Year 2014. Ian and I would like to say thank you to all our staff for their hard work. Winning 4 awards in total is recognition for everyone's immense effort."
