18/03/2013 - Selwyns Travel acquired by RATP Dev

RATP Dev UK is pleased to announce the acquisition of Selwyns Travel. The acquisition complements RATP Dev’s existing footprint of bus operations in London, Bath, Bournemouth and Epsom.

Selwyns Travel, a leading coach operator located in North West England, has depots in Manchester, Runcorn and St Helens.  It employs more than 200 staff with an annual turnover of £15m and has grown organically and through acquisition since its inception in 1968.  Clients include local authorities and blue chip companies including National Express, Barclays and Emirates. 

 Running a fleet of 90 vehicles, Selwyns Travel will continue to operate as an independent division of RATP Dev UK under the leadership of its Managing Director Selwyn Jones.
