Programme to Improve Driver Behaviour, Protect Passengers, and Reduce Accidents
Lytx®, Inc., the global leader in video-based driver safety, has announced that Selwyns Coach Hire has deployed the Lytx DriveCamTM Programme throughout its fleet of 100 coaches in a multi-year agreement.
The leading coach operator, which is part of the Selwyns Travel Services group, implemented the Lytx programme to protect passengers and reduce accidents and vehicle repair costs, whilst upskilling its drivers and maintaining a good reputation within the marketplace. During its trial of the DriveCam Programme, Selwyns saw significant improvements in its drivers' behaviours throughout its fleet-including a 53% reduction in overall risk, and a 67% reduction in risky events such as near-collision, not looking far enough ahead, and following too close.
