Olympics site tours from The Kings Ferry
The Kings Ferry Limited, the Kent based coach operator, is proud to announce the launch of a new charter service offering both small and large groups the opportunity to witness the re-development of East London as it prepares to host one of the worlds largest spectator events in 2012. Following Team GB’s outstanding success in Beijing, The Kings Ferry is now taking bookings for organized tours for both small and large groups who wish to witness the evolution of a sporting and cultural legacy and take a last look at the landscape that will be forever changed.
All tours are based on charter coach hire from a modern fleet of 75 vehicles and are supplied with a knowledgeable Blue Badge guide who will entertain groups with their extensive knowledge of London past, present and future as the tour takes in many of the sites that will form the centre piece of the worlds attention in less than four years time.
Ian Fraser, Operational Director said “For most of us, the last Olympics in 1948 is outside living memory so this is a unique opportunity to witness a piece of history evolve. We are keen to promote this service to local schools, sports organizations and tour groups in the hope that it may inspire one of the country’s young upcoming stars to represent their country in their chosen event”
As the sites develop the tours will adapt to provide the best possible value and entertainment and can be adapted to the needs of each group. For those interested in finding out more about these tours and view sample itineraries can visit www.thekingsferry.co.uk/olympics
