25/03/2014 - New coaches on the way for Maynes
Preview of new coaches in build by Plaxtons
We have advance pictures of the 2 new Mercedes Plaxton Cheetahs, which are in build at the factory in Scarborough and soon to join our fleet. These additions will boost our fleet to now have 5 of these very popular type of coaches. Both the new coaches have been built to our exact standards, one coach with 25 leather seats and tables the other 29 seats, both with 3 point belts, A/C and in-coach entertainment. The new coaches will mixed in with our own private hire work as well as undertaking transfers for our corporate clients.
Our total investment of around £250k shows our continued commitment to our customers that "Travelling The Mayne Way " is to travel in a first class vehicle, specifically selected for its comfort, reliability and safety.
Both these new coaches are due for delivery during April 2014. Our coach operating business was established by James Mayne in 1947 we have expanded greatly over the years and now operate coaches from our depots in Buckie, Elgin and Orkney
