The awards recognise excellence and innovation across coach tour operators, tourist destinations and attractions, and industry suppliers. Commenting on Melanie's success, Steve Whiteway, Managing Director said: "Melanie brings a modern slant to old fashioned values relating to customers old and young, patiently and with great diplomacy. She ensures that our product is rated very highly by those who use the service. In addition to her work within the company, Melanie has also found time to take on the responsibility of being a Director of CTC, demonstrating her passion for the coach touring product. This is brilliant news and very well deserved."

The award was presented by television presenter, and travel and tourism expert, Judith Chalmers.
