After an recent visit to the Mercedes UK offices in Coventry, a trial of a demonstrator coach with our company and negotiations during the recent Coach & Bus Live show at the NEC in Birmingham, the Directors have placed a firm order for 3 new full size Mercedes Benz coaches from the team at Evobus UK.
The 3 Mercedes Tourismo Travel 12 metre 55 seat coaches will be delivered for the 2016 season. Two will be in the livery of a UK tour operator client and the 3rd in fleet livery.
All coaches will have in coach entertainment, powered centre door, leather headrests on board Hoover system. The coaches will be used predominantly on uk touring market as well as looking after our private hire clients.
We will be working with Evobus and Mercedes Benz in Nairn to ensure the additions receive 100% service and back up 24-7.
Director Kevin Mayne said "we were impressed with the team at Evobus, their willingness to work with us with a dedicated after-sales account manager and provide both our engineering and driving teams with ongoing vehicle familiarisation and engineering training, this showed us they were 100% focused on our reputation as well as their own!
We also looked at other vehicles, products and services on offer at the show and have made routes and not inroads into further developing our fleet profile and offerings in the months ahead. Watch this space!
