Major investment by Bakers Dolphin

Bakers Dolphin, the South West’s leading coach tour operator made a significant investment by buying three new coaches built on a Scania EB Chassis with Irizar Century Club bodies.

The new vehicles represent a significant investment for Bakers Dolphin Coach Travel, based at Locking Road, Weston-super-Mare, and have been branded with the company’s logo as they join the firm’s fleet of 55 coaches.

Max Fletcher, Managing Director of Bakers Dolphin said: “We are really happy that we are able to invest this money into the business so we can continue to offer more to our loyal customers.

“Having purchased Scania vehicles two years earlier we have been impressed with their performance and fuel efficiency. The local dealer at Avonmouth has given us great support and excellent service.

“The Irizar body is ideal for our passengers as it is both comfortable and practical, furthermore adding the extra length to the coach increases legroom which we know is an important consideration particularly on long haul European holidays.”
