Schools and parents in Southern England looking for the safest way of transporting children on school journeys now have an easy choice, as Lucketts Travel Group once again achieves a "top grade" for safe school coach travel.
As the only provider in the local area to sign up for the Simply Safe scheme, Lucketts Travel Group has just received a Six Star Benchmark rating from BUSK (Belt Up School Kids) a national organisation that promotes safe child road transport.
Lucketts, a family firm based in Fareham, joined the Simply Safe scheme in 2012 and underwent a series of thorough background checks covering all aspects of safety and legal compliance. As part of its membership Lucketts Travel Group is independently audited every two years, making sure that the award winning coach travel firm is continuing to operate the highest possible standards.
BUSK offers free guidance to parents and schools about the safest way of getting children to and from class and away on educational visits. All aspects of the operation need to be assessed, with the organisation able to recommend its members as providers of "best practice".
