Steve O’Neill, Managing Director said: “These awards matter because they are voted by the people who actually use the product and they are the industry experts as far as I am concerned. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service – from the coaches themselves to the drivers and customer care and our range of European and International tours has never been wider.
“People in Kent may know us more for the commuting service we run into central London but our national and international work is the biggest part of our business and one that is growing weekly.
“We have also just completed our first year working with the BBC nationwide. We provide transport for staff and production crews for anything from the famous Radio One Roadshows to Doctor Who. We designed our own internet booking system that BBC staff across the country can access to book 24 hours a day.”
The spectacular GL black-tie ceremony took place on Thursday 20th September. Attended by more than 400 people, the awards were handed out by special guest actor Martin Kemp. Winners in other categories included easyJet, English Heritage and representatives from London, Blackpool and Las Vegas Tourist Boards or equivalent. The Tower of London was voted the Best UK Attraction.
*The Group Leisure Awards give group travel organisers and readers of Group Leisure magazine the opportunity to vote for winners and have been held since 1997.
