Bus Services Manager for Quality Line, part of Epsom Coaches, wins special award
Jayne Cracknell has won the Inspirational Role Model to Women in the Bus Industry award at the 2015 London Bus Awards ceremony, held on 25th June in London. This special award, celebrates 100 years of women in transport. To a standing ovation, Jayne collected her award from Leon Daniels, Managing Director of Surface Transport for TfL. Jayne Cracknell is the Bus Services Manager for Quality Line, part of the Epsom Coaches Group and is responsible for all the company's London Bus operations, with over 280 staff reporting to her. Over 30 nominations were received for this prestigious award.
Managing Director of Epsom Coaches Group, Steve Whiteway was delighted at Jayne's success and stated "Jayne Cracknell is a remarkable woman, who represents everything that is good in the bus industry, showcasing the huge contribution woman have made to transport and providing inspiration for others to follow her lead. I am delighted that Jayne's considerable talents have been recognised in this prestigious award".
