01/04/2017 - Gearing up for Maynes open day
Supporting Alzheimer’s Scotland
As many of you know this year our company is celebrating our 70th Anniversary, and are holding an open day to celebrate. Planning is well underway for our 70th Anniversary Open Day which is being held on Sunday 7th May this year from 11am – 4pm at our Buckie Depot.
We now have 25 stall holders signed up to attend this event. We also have over 30 vehicles signed up to attend, including vintages busses and Lorries, steam engine and modern commercial vehicles which are coming from as far as the Scottish borders and some dating as far back as the early 1900’s and even local emergency vehicles. We also have Fish N Chips to Go, Rhonda’s burger van and Fochabers Ice Cream coming along to provide food. There will be fairground rides, bouncy slides and even someone doing shellac nails! A David Urquhart Holiday rep will also be attending providing you with information regarding their upcoming trips!
A selection of our coaches and executive & wedding vehicles will also be on show.
We have decided that our chosen charity for this event will be Alzheimer’s Scotland. We are now in the process of organising a raffle and are looking for donations for our raffle. We would greatly appreciate any donations for our raffle, which will be promoted at the event as well as promoted over social media in the weeks prior to the event.
