Scania Interlinks for Johnsons

Johnsons Coach Travel of Henley-in-Arden welcomed five new Scania coaches to their fleet this month taking their new vehicle investment programme to over £1.5 million in 2017.

The five new coaches joined two additional new 35 seat Yutong coaches that arrived in March, taking the fleet size to over 50, made up of mini buses, mini, midi and full sized coaches.

Four of the new Scania Finesse coaches are 12.8m in length; two coaches are to Johnsons 49 seat ‘Club Class’ extra legroom coaches that will be used on Johnsons’ own range of holidays and day excursions; the other two coaches are 53 seaters with full wheelchair accessibility.

Johnsons PR1-2017The other new arrival is another of the longer 14.1m 63 seater variant, to join the 4 that have been bought in the last 3 years.  All 5 coaches come with reclining half real leather executive seats, toilet, climate control, audio and visual equipment and USB charging points throughout.

John Johnson, Commercial Director of Johnsons Coach Travel said: “We’ve been impressed with the reliability and performance of the previous Interlink product and when the new Finesse became available we liked it straight away.  We immediately noted the deeper windows, the reduced aisle step and the overall build quality.  And with the added benefit of Scania’s R&M package we were very happy to choose Interlinks this year, to complement our rapidly increasing Euro 6 coach fleet.”
