Eddie Brown - 2011 Coach Tourism Awards Success

Coach tour operator Eddie Brown Tours is delighted to have been nationally recognised for the third time in 4 years as one of the UK’s top coach and tour operators.

At the recent 2011 Coach Tourism Awards, not only was the company announced as a Finalist in a total of 5 different categories, they also went on to win the prestigious Brochure of the Year Award for their 2011 holiday brochure.

These annual awards recognise and reward the very best companies in the coach tourism industry and a glittering ceremony was attended by 360 coach travel professionals at the Holiday Inn Stratford-upon-Avon.

With a history of awards success after winning the UK Holiday Programme of the Year for 2 consecutive years, this year’s judges were impressed with the quality and variety of the entire brochure. In their decision to present the award to Eddie Brown Tours, the judging panel highlighted the clarity of the brochure’s layout and its easy to read and informative holiday descriptions. The judges were also impressed with the attention to detail and personal touches which only a family-run operator can offer its valued clients.

This year’s awards were contested by a number of the largest and most well established coach operators in the country and Eddie Brown Tours was delighted to be a Finalist with so many other quality companies in the categories of ‘UK Coach Operator of the Year’, ‘Day Excursion Programme of the Year’ and ‘European Operator of the Year’. The icing on the cake to a rewarding evening was also being named a Finalist for the ‘Website of the Year’ - having their new corporate website www.eddiebrowntours.com singled out as one of the best just 2 months after its launch!

Managing Director Deirdre Brown, daughter of the company founder Eddie, collected the Award on the night and said “Following our success at the Awards in the last 4 years, we were delighted to be named as finalists once again in an impressive 5 of the 7 coach award categories.”
