Driver training at Lucketts
As part of an ongoing commitment to driver training and standards, all drivers at the south coast coach operator Lucketts Travel, are currently undertaking a training programme covering many aspects of a driverīs role, including regulatory issues such as driverīs hours, tachographs and other areas to provide its passengers with the very best in safety and comfort.
The courses are taking place under the guidance of Lucketts newly appointed Driver Training Co-ordinator Ian Hills and will result in an NVQ qualification for the drivers.
Ian Hills recently joined Lucketts Travel with a background of 10 years spent in training and instruction roles. Ian said that he was "looking forward to the new role and the opportunity to use his experience to further enhance standards and service levels to Lucketts varied range of customersīī.
