BUZZLINES UNVEILS NEW DAY TRIP AND HOLIDAY SELECTION

More than 300 day trips and 100 short breaks and holidays for Kent people have been unveiled in two new brochures from Buzzlines Travel.

The Hythe-based company which picks up passengers and holidaymakers across the county, has planned day excursions to such classic favourites as the Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot Ladies Day, Crufts and Cadbury World alongside theme parks, historic houses and gardens, steam trains and popular markets at home and abroad.

Meanwhile, the Buzzlines Travel Summer and Autumn holiday brochure features European short and long breaks at destinations in Italy, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, France, Spain, Slovenia and Croatia. And many overseas holidays include door-to-door service to and from home at no extra cost.

Holiday destinations in the UK include the Scottish Highlands, the Lake District, Cornwall, the New Forest, Isle of Wight, South Wales and the Yorkshire moors.

There are also themed breaks available such as a Nostalgia Weekend to recapture the music from the 1950s and 60s; a Western Carnival three-day trip to Weston super Mare; Pirates and Pinafores, at the former home of William Gilbert; and a Dambusters Weekend with a visit to the Derwent Reservoir where the bombers practised before their famous raid.

“This is the largest and most varied selection of Buzzlines Travel day trips and holidays ever offered. We have included everyone’s family favourites, such as special visits to Disneyland Resort, Paris, the Edinburgh Tattoo and Blackpool Illuminations, but we have also put together some exciting and unusual packages,” said Joanna Ames, general manager of Buzzlines Travel, at Red Lion Square, Hythe.

Ms Ames is expecting the company’s renowned mystery tours – both day excursions and three-day breaks – to be among the first to sell out.

“Mystery tours are incredibly popular with more people becoming regular travellers on these special trips with us every year,” she said.
