Bakers Coaches for Holidays with Help
First hire booking for new vehicles with wheelchair lift
A new coach equipped for handling customers using wheelchairs has proved to be a sound investment for Bakers Coaches of Biddulph, near Stoke-on-Trent.
For one of the first contracts using this capability was ‘Holidays With Help’ a national charity formed to arrange holidays for large groups of people with disabilities. Holidays are organised at top UK resorts, in conjunction with leading holiday centre operators. As well as giving some added spice of life for disabled guests, the charity offers well-deserved respite for their full time carers, See www.holidayswithhelp.org.uk
“Although we are renowned for quality service and a modern fleet, our latest coach made the difference in being selected for this work,” said contract hire executive David Smith. “In this case – and another new client for Bakers, we were the only firm in the region that had a vehicle suitably equipped to meet their specific requirements.”
Nursing Officer Margaret Homer, who is based in the Isle of Man, says she found Bakers Coaches following an Internet search of coach hire companies located in the Cheshire and North Staffordshire. See www.bakerscoaches.com
“I posted a standard request for quotation, outlining our requirements onto a number of websites. Bakers Coaches responded immediately, initially with a telephone call to check the details and later that same morning with a quotation.” Margaret adds, “And we were pleasantly surprised to be offered a new vehicle for far less than we had anticipated, going on our previous experience.”
“Most importantly, Bakers Coaches delivered on its promises. The holiday destination was Bracklesham Bay near Chichester with pick ups of customers from Northwich and Manchester. Anther stop was made at Solihull to pick up a number of students who assist with these holidays. The coach and driver remained with the party for day trips during the stay at the resort.
“We were delighted with the service provided, especially because of the nature of our guests. The driver, David Grant was superb. It was good to see his manner to them all, making them feel special and doing all he could to ensure they enjoyed their holiday to the full,” said Margaret Homer.
