Bakers Coaches builds expertise towards total event management

Bakers Coaches has strengthened its front office team with the appointment of Kayleigh Dawson as Private Hire Executive. A graduate of Staffordshire University in Travel and Tourism, Kayleigh has worked previously at Tillington Hall Hotel, Stafford and Alton Towers, as events and conference supervisor.

Commenting on Kayleigh’s appointment, Phil Baker said. “We can provide a vehicle for any occasion involving group travel. And if necessary we can provide a total hospitality solution, adding value by offering event planning and co-ordination. Group travel is becoming increasingly popular and our clients want to simplify transport arrangements and ensure that their special event is safe and remembered for the right reasons.”

Kayleigh Dawson knows the local area well. She attended Westwood High School in Leek and is now living in Trentham. Describing her new job Kayleigh says; “Moving across to the travel side is a great opportunity to combine my university knowledge with my experience so far in the leisure industry.

“Immediate projects include a ‘Special Weddings’ package designed to make getting the guests to the church on time, part of the celebration. We can take responsibility for all the details including park and ride options to help reduce traffic between the ceremony and reception venue,” says Kayleigh.

Bakers Coaches of Biddulph has many years experience providing bespoke travel solutions for diverse clients such as the Port Vale and Crewe Alexander football clubs, the Girl Guides association, and the Olympic Development Agency. Business groups include national conference agencies and local firms such as JCB, which contracted Bakers to provide airport to hotel transfers and factory visits for a major global distributors’ event.
