“What do you mean we’re having our wedding reception on a bus?!” Luxury land yacht gives kent couple a day to remember…

When Kent couple Karli Appleby and Richard Fuller were chosen to take part in a zany radio competition allowing listeners to decide how their wedding day should be organised, they ended up having the reception on a party bus trip around the roads of the county!



But the newlyweds had the last laugh when the ‘bus’ turned out to be two Land Yachts, a unique fleet of VIP vehicles providing the ultimate in luxury transportation. Karli from Herne Bay and Richard from Chatham took part in the ‘Wicked Wedding’ competition organised by Invicta FM. Listeners were given the chance to be the ultimate wedding planners, choosing between one of two options, one wicked and one wonderful, covering the location of the wedding ceremony, type of reception, cake and honeymoon.



Karli and Richard’s hearts may have dropped on hearing that mischievous listeners had opted for the ‘party bus tour of Kent’ for the reception but when the happy couple tied the knot at Lympne Castle they discovered that two luxury Land Yachts were waiting to whisk the wedding party off on a champagne-popping tour.

The Land Yachts can carry 12 or 19 people and have ‘lounge-style seating’, making them perfect for parties, corporate hospitality, conferences and mobile exhibitions.
