Celebrations at Johnsons Coaches
Johnsons Coach & Bus Travel of Henley-in-Arden are celebrating this week as it marks 35 years for the two Directors, Peter & John Johnson working together.
The two brothers came together to run the family business back in July 1979 when the firm was only operating 3 coaches, a furniture removal lorry and a taxi. Being 3rd generation family members they took over the running of the business from their parents Roy and Joan Johnson, and now, 35 years later they have built the company to where it is now, with just about 100 coaches and buses operating from a purpose built 4 acre site, just north of Henley-in-Arden.
Under their tenure the business it has gone from strength to strength; it has won many Coach Industry Awards; it celebrated 100 years in business in 2009 and now it's well known blue, yellow and white livery on its buses and coaches can be seen near and far - from Stratford-on-Avon to Switzerland!
The company is larger now than it has ever been, but it is still very much a family firm with family values. John Johnson comments ‘Our company moto is ‘Travel with Johnsons... Travel with Friends' and we keep this in our mind's eye with everything we do - in all our relationships with customers, staff and suppliers. We believe that the only way to guarantee a great customer experience is to make sure that our staff who look after them are happy and fulfilled in their work"

Joan Johnson, their Mother also celebrates 45 years in the Business this year! Joan still enjoys working in the business - on brochure launch events, presentations and is still seen on board our coaches as a holiday courier!
