Classic Coaches began trading in 1983 and we are now established as one of the leading coach companies in the North East of England. We continue to invest heavily in our fleet. Late 2006 we took delivery of a 79 seat double deck executive coach and in 2007 our fleet additions will consist of 59/65 fully executive coaches.

Location
Our main operating centre is situated in Annfield Plain, 8 miles Northwest of Durham City and 9 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne. Also we have our newly refurbished satellite depot in Washington 1 mile from main A1(M) motorway. This means that we are ideally positioned for access to major routes throughout the region. The major transport interchanges and portals to our region served are Newcastle and Teeside International Airports, along with North Shields International Ferry Terminal which serves many incoming routes from Scandinavia and Holland. We also operate disabled access coaches.

Coaches
Our fleet comprises of 33 modern touring coaches, with an average age of less than three years. We can supply from 49 to 57 seat standard coaches and 32 to 79 seat executive coaches.

Our executive coaches are equipped with reclining seats, TV and Video/DVD, Toilet, Coffee Machine etc. Most of our coaches feature air conditioning.

Our corporate dining coaches as used by Newcastle and Sunderland football teams boast 32 fully reclining seats around 8 fully fitted tables. Full audio-visual facilities such as DVD, Video and Digital Satellite TV are provided as well as customized power points for mobile phones, laptops etc. These air-conditioned coaches have fully equipped kitchen and generator facilities which allows for the provision of full hot and cold meals, whether on the road or static at exhibitions

Services
We cater for the full range of coaching services, from guided tours, school parties, airport or ferry transfers, to day trips, longer tours both at home and abroad, conferences and corporate events. With our extensive contacts within the industry we can offer hotels, ferries and travel insurance at reduced rates.

Our success is attributable to our attention to detail. Regardless of the vehicle or type of hire we will ensure that your journey is conducted smoothly and professionally throughout. All of our drivers are smartly uniformed and attend our own three part training course with refreshers to keep up to date with current legislation, industry standards, local and international knowledge as well as roadcraft.
