Maynes Coaches is a family-owned business that has traded successfully since 1947. The outstanding success of this company, operating in a highly competitive market, is founded on providing a high quality, high value service. Maynes Coaches employ over 80 employees and have a fleet of around 45 vehicles, with regular fleet investments every year.

In 2023 we are proudly celebrating 76 years in an extremely competitive industry, and we pride ourselves on the high standards of customer care provided to our clients since 1947. Over the last 76 years, we believe through the hard work and dedication that all our team members exhibit, we have built an unbeatable reputation which our customers return for year on year. We operate under three divisions, Maynes Coaches which is our main fleet, Maynes Legacy which is our VIP and Corporate Luxury fleet and Maynes Holidays which is our collection of industry leading Coach Holidays and day trips. Each division has its own comprehensive, top of the line fleet comprising 100% Euro 6, modern luxury vehicles of varying sizes and finishing’s.

Maynes has achieved a level of service that sets the industry standard that others strive to - ensuring our repeat custom and stellar reputation that has established Maynes Coaches as being the name to trust in travel since 1947.

Maynes are able to provide a luxury experience of coach travel in the UK and Europe. Our Coaches are also available for airport transfers, day hire and corporate travel.

Location

We are based in Buckie in the North East of Scotland on the Moray Firth coast between Inverness and Aberdeen. We also regularly travel for pick-ups all over Scotland and the North of England. We would welcome any Company to invite us to quote for short or long haul tours in the UK or Europe, as well as any Private Coach Hire Requirements.

We have bases in Orkney and Elgin, this gives our Company a wider reach in meeting our coach hire requirements in the North of Scotland.

Coaches

All our fleet of fully seat-belted coaches range from 8 to 70 seats. Our larger luxury coaches, from 25 to 53 seats, have facilities including air-conditioning, toilet/washroom, TV/DVD, hot/cold drinks and tables if specified. From the very first telephone call to our office staff, whether to book a coach or just for a quotation, we will give you our personal attention to ensure you receive all the necessary information. Our drivers however, smartly dressed in their company uniform, go on to make your travel a First Class experience. All of our drivers are fully CPC trained in courses from Emergencies and evacuations to Basic First Aid Training. Our drivers are the ambassadors of our company, we ensure they also undertake customer care courses as well as our In house Intensive Driver Awareness course. Many of our specialist drivers have also taken part in language courses to assist them on their continental tours and of course with incoming clients from out-with the UK.
